How to Donate Money
Your donation of money is vitally important in providing food and necessities to neighbors in need.
The North End Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Shop for fair-trade and local Vermont products from the Vermont-based Just Food Hub. Select ‘North End Food Pantry’ at checkout to designate 25% of the profits of your purchase to the pantry.

If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a direct donation of up to $100,000 per year to charitable organizations from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), without the withdrawal being treated as taxable income. The withdrawal can be counted toward your Required Minimum Distribution.

To make a donation, contact your plan administrator and request a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” to be sent to:

Please notify us when you make a distribution so that we can acknowledge your donation and send you a receipt for tax purposes.

We are open every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
• Shelf-stable food, clothing, diapers, and menstrual products are available during this time.
• Fresh produce, deli items, and baked goods are distributed at 9:00 AM sharp on both days.

Please enter through the basement door at the back of the Odd Fellows Lodge parking lot for shelf-stable food, diapers, clothing and menstrual products. Look for the door with the hand-and-heart symbol.

We hand out numbered tickets starting at 8:50 AM for fresh food distribution.
The tickets rearrange the line to ensure fairness — everyone will get food, but the ticket helps keep things organized.
Distribution starts at 9:00 AM sharp and moves quickly, so please be on time.

If you arrive after 9:00 AM, you may miss out on fresh produce, deli, and bakery items. Shelf-stable food and other items will still be available until 11:00 AM.

No. We do not require ID, proof of income, or documentation.

We're sorry, but the Odd Fellows Lodge has short sets of stairs.

We accept donations of shelf-stable food, clothing, diapers, and menstrual products.
Please contact us via email or bring food donations to the pantry during our open hours. Clothing donations are accepted on the last Sunday of every month from 10-noon.

We do our best to offer a variety of food options and label items clearly, but we cannot guarantee that all items are allergen-free. Please check labels carefully.

Yes, we always try to keep a supply of diapers and menstrual products on hand for anyone who needs them.
